About me

     From an early age, I was drawn to movement and fitness, exploring various physical activities and sports. This passion led me to pursue a career in physical exercise, earning a degree in Physical Education and Exercise Therapy.

      I gained valuable experience as a Physical Education teacher, developing skills in teaching, training, coaching, and supporting individuals of all levels. My passion for guiding and helping others led me to become a Pilates Instructor, where I quickly fell in love with the discipline.

      With over a decade of experience teaching Pilates, I am dedicated to empowering my clients by motivating and helping them to achieve significant progress in improve functional mobility, build full-body strength, improve posture and enhance their mind-body connection. My expertise extends to working with a diverse range of clients, including beginners, athletes, seniors, and individuals recovering from injuries.

      With a strong foundation in Exercise Therapy, I have developed a deep understanding of how to tailor Pilates techniques to suit different needs and goals, ensuring safe and effective progress for everyone. My approach focuses on personalized guidance, helping clients move with confidence and feel their best through mindful movement.

Services

As a qualified and experienced instructor, I work with people of all ages and abilities, supporting their health and well-being through tailored exercise programs. I specialize in working with clients managing various health conditions, including osteoporosis, arthritis, chronic back and joint pain, pre/post-natal conditions, limited mobility after injuries (including stroke), pelvic floor dysfunctions, and more. My goal is to help each person improve strength, mobility, and overall quality of life through safe and effective movements.

I have been attending Larisa’s classes for 7 years, who I have found to be a brilliant, fun teacher. I joined her classes after retiring to make sure I maintain an exercise routine. She knows how to get the best exercises for our bodies, stretching, bending, relaxing etc, giving muscles a steady workout. Knowing human anatomy she is able to guide you if you were having, say, a back problem, she is able to give the advisable exercise to help. I definitely feel better for the workouts.
